Discover Economics is proud to host a virtual event as part of Black History Month 2023! This event will showcase inspiring Black economists from the University of Bristol, Manchester Metropolitan University and Black Girl Money. It is open to GCSE and A-level (or equivalent) students!
During the event you will:
- Learn about the array of exciting careers available to those that study economics from professionals who have worked in academia and both the public and private sector!
- Have the chance to ask questions
- Gain advice and guidance on how to apply for economics degrees/apprenticeships
- Have an opportunity to learn about what it’s like to study economics at a higher level
