We are delighted to announce that the North East’s Higher Education Advisers and Teachers (HEAT) Conference will return on 21 November 2024, to provide an opportunity for teachers and advisers to gain up to date information on progression to further and higher education, with a particular focus on underrepresented groups. The conference is being hosted by the North East Raising Aspiration Partnership of the regions five universities in partnership with Outreach North East.
You will hear from sector experts about the current progression picture in the region, what is working well in schools and colleges, and how to embed careers into the curriculum. You will also have the opportunity to attend a range of workshops.
To allow as many people as possible to benefit from the event we will be restricting places to one per school/college in the first instance and operating a reserve list.
