A free creative programme designed to develop employability skills for care-experienced young people (aged between 16-25). The 6 week programme will take place at The Customs House, South Shields. Using creative learning and drama, the workshops are designed to enhance communication skills, build confidence and encourage teamwork, whilst equipping the participants with the necessary skills and knowledge needed in preparation for entering the world of work. There will also be opportunity to meet local NHS employers and gain an understanding of the range of NHS careers including non-clinical careers.
